Caracas, 20 Mar. AVN.- More than 2 million tweets have been sent worldwide this Friday, through the social network Twitter, to support the repeal of the decree signed by US President Barack Obama, which calls Venezuela an “extraordinary and unusual threat to US national security and foreign policy.”
This Friday, the Twitter community made the label #ObamaRepealTheExecuteOrder a top-trending topic in the social network, as part of a global mass-Tweet campaign to support the people and Government of Venezuela, and reject the new meddling of the American empire.
Last week, President Barack Obama signed an executive order that calls Venezuela as an “unusual and extraordinary threat,” an aggression that has been rejected by many countries and regional bodies, such as the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP), as it seeks to destabilize the unity and integration in the region.
In Venezuela, different sectors of the country have been mobilized throughout the country to protest the new aggression from the White House.
