HPJC Deplores All Violence in Middle East
The Houston Peace and Justice Center (HPJC) deplores all violence in the Middle East, including the use of drones to assassinate political and military leaders.
We call upon the leaders of Israel, Palestine, Syria and other nations to stop using violence to solve their political problems. The victims of such violence are often innocent civilians, including children.
We call upon Israel to stop suppressing the Palestinean people and building illegal settlements on Palestinean land.
We call upon the U.S. Government to stop giving foreign aid to any nation that uses violence to solve its problems.
Peace will never come to the Middle East or the world in general until peaceful means are used to achieve peace.
