As the US working class bumbles down the old familiar path of the capitalist democracy, many people are wondering WTF is going on. People in the US have been spectators to the political chaos for centuries. Astute observers of the political process in the US have noted that nothing is resolved in any bourgeois dominated political struggle.

Democracy in the US serves the purpose of propelling the bourgeoisie in the US to higher heights of political control. This means mass repression of progressive movements in the service of bolstering and consolidating bourgeois political power. The current political struggle could not be clearer in exemplifying this political fact.

Let us examine the current political climate in the US in light of the eternal class struggle.

Trumpkopf

Donald Trump has proven himself to be a phenomenal candidate for the office of the President of the United States (POTUS). Similar to another Teutonic politician, Adolf Hitler a.k.a. der Fuhrer, he is a great orator and is highly skilled at exploiting the fears and ignorance of the working class. Following in Hitler’s footsteps, he rails against immigrants first and then anyone who disagrees with him. The remarkable thing is that he seeks to conceal his Germanic heritage rather than flaunt it. This may be a fatal flaw in his campaign.

Trump excoriates his opponents in a brutish, bullying fashion. He clearly seeks to intimidate his opponents. He has degraded and insulted various sectors of the population to include Muslims, Mexicans, women, and working people in general. No one should forget that he had a reality show in which the slogan was “You are fired!” His misogynistic and xenophobic views are well documented in the popular press.

It is important to note that Trump represents himself as a member of the bourgeois class in the US. Since he won’t release his tax records, it is unclear whether he is a member of the bourgeoisie or merely a flunky. The reality awaits us.

Billary

At this stage in the political struggle, it appears that Hillary Clinton is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party of the USA. Working people appear to be split between Hillary and Trumpkopf. This is not surprising given the weaknesses of both Clinton and Trump in terms of providing some relief for the misery of the working class. Trump’s answer appears to be “You’re fired!” Clinton’s answer appears to be “More war!” Trump argues for military expansion and Clinton is not opposed to this. Clinton tells us that she intends to resurrect her reprobate husband and former POTUS, Bill, to fix the economy. We must read this as Bill and Hillary are one, i.e. Billary.

Former POTUS Bill Clinton with his wife “standing by his side” are guilty of unfathomable war crimes during his administration. The most notable was the destruction of the sovereign nation of Yugoslavia. Clinton’s intervention in this region resulted in the splintering of the population into unending war and destruction and decimation of the existing social structure in this region.

Secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, presided over the destruction of a sovereign state, Libya, and the assassination of its leader, Moammar Qaddafi. She served as a pathetic cheerleader for her husband’s excesses. Once propelled into high office, she replicated his policies of destruction and annihilation of sovereign nations and their leaders. Some have dubbed her “Killery,” but this is too kind. She appears to be a new beast never before pushed onto the world stage by the bourgeoisie.

Class Analysis

Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are close to the nomination of their respective political parties which represent the interests of the bourgeoisie. It is important for the working class to be clear on the class interests of these two candidates. Both are members of the bourgeoisie and might be considered to be “on the take” of the corrupt bourgeois political and economic system in the United States. It is well documented that Clinton has been repeatedly a recipient of massive amounts of money for various speaking engagements to major bourgeois interests. Through corruption, manipulation and intimidation, Donald Trump has sought to neutralize any opposition.

Conclusion

It appears likely that both candidates will represent the interests of the bourgeoisie and fight for the current political process which serves to bolster and prop up the bourgeoisie in the US. It appears likely that nothing will be accomplished under a Clinton or Trump administration. Under Clinton, working people can expect more war. Under Trump, working people can expect more repression.

Take your pick, working people. Another alternative would be to oppose specific policies advocated by the bourgeois party in power.

Do working people want unending global war or do they prefer a world in which universal world peace is possible?
